Hello readers!

Basic question: Who am I?

As you could probably guess (or read in section About) I’m a Embedded Software Engineer (at least that’s what my CV states). As a hobby I like tinkering with a different things (Linux, self-hosting, 3D printing, ‘degooglifying’, etc.). For me the most important title in my education is engineer. I don’t like programming as an ‘Art for art’s sake’, it is mostly about solving the issue.

Second: But why?

Also according to the spirit of another proverb ‘My house is my castle’ (in my opinion) it’s necessary to have some kind of freedom of choice in your own domain. Results of this can be found in my approach to email, social media, search engine, personal cloud data. It’s almost impossible (surely in IT environment) to coexist in today’s society without digital presence. The key is to find healthy balance between tin foil cap and publishing personal photos with geotags from holiday 1000 km away.

At last: For whom?

I don’t expect to receive tremendous count of visitors - I’m sure this site will stay unprofitable but that’s ok. Let’s assume this page is my small portfolio, my own little part of the Internet. If anyone find something interesting, it would be pleasure to hear. Of course I encourage to reach to me via email.
